how the heck did Gerald Green get into this conversation??  ??? Been a while since celts supporters want him to start.

Ohhhhh got ya now. Green has some real offensive potential but Wallace is a smart hustle guy. Give Green time to prove himself and if he fails trade him and start Crash

Man, that makes our starting lineup's offensive punch depressing ...

PG: A.Bradley
SG: C.Lee
SF: G.Wallace
PF: B.Bass
 C: K.Humphries

I think the pro tanking guys will absolutely live this lineup.

But man, that lineup is worse than the Bobcats.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine

Given their present relative hustle levels it might be more clever (or cunning) to have Crash bring it from off the bench, than Jeff 'the invisible' Green.

Just add Rondo and Wiggins in there and it isn't nearly as bad

It wouldn't surprise me if Wallace is better than Green this season.  He wasn't so much washed up last season as he was in a terrible system for his skills.  Aside from last season, Wallace has been better than Green every season they've been in the NBA together.

But man, that lineup is worse than the Bobcats.

Putting tanking aside after 3 games this would be my starting lineup.

PG Crawford- surprisingly nice blend of passing and scoring
SG Bradley- looks too awkward playing the point.  Better off the ball most of the time
SF Green -hopefully he wakes up
PF Humphries - seen enough he is overmatched at C
C Sullinger- playing out of position but can handle it for now. Need his scoring in the starting lineup.

Backups
PG I really like Pressey.  Should be our main backup for now.
SG by default Lee but dissapointed by him so far.  Bogans and Brooks spot minutes possibly.
SF Wallace could see Green shifted to SG at times which leaves even less time for others
PF/C between Vitor, KO, and Bass depending on matchups.  Vitor is going to have to play a good amount because of his size.  Would like KO to eventually push his way to the starting lineup but probably too early for that.

i'm glad Humphries and wallace seem to be having comeback years....should boost their trade value.

There will be some team with needs for their skills, a team looking for that "piece" to contend

I think Green has more talent than Wallace, but Wallace brings it every game. So I agree to start him, IMO it is important for young players to see hustle being rewarded.

As far as line ups go, I think it is way to early to pick a starting 5 but during the Philly game I did see a group I liked.

Pressey
Lee
Wallace
Sully
KO

in the future I can see:
Rondo
Lee/Bradley
Wallace
Sully
KO

as a very fun competitive group.

I think Jeff Green needs to be the starter at the small forward position.  Despite lackluster efforts in our first three preseason games, he is our most talented player while Rondo is on the sidelines.

I understand that folks are frustrated that he is coasting through the preseason so far, but I predict that once they actually start to keep score of wins and losses that he'll look considerably better.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I think Green's playing himself into the position he was in last year--which is to come off the bench unless and until he can force himself back into the starting lineup.

Sully's most clearly won a starting spot, and Wallace is probably second in that. Plus, they both seem to play best together.

Neither Bass nor Humphries has grabbed a hold of the other big starter position, but Olynyk is clearly going to need some time to get adjusted to the pro game.

I'm also thinking Bradley and Crawford need to start in the backcourt, with Pressey getting some experience and being tested as the first guard off the bench.

Whether KO, VF, or PP can force their way into the lineup (before Rondo returns, in Pressey's case) is open to question. Neither Humphries nor Bass seems like a particularly good tandem with Sully, but one of them has to start until someone else steps up.

I'm hoping KO starts shooting and otherwise looking better soon, but he may need a season off the bench after all.

Jeff Green and Gerald Wallace are the two best, most talented and effective players on the roster (with rondo recovering).   It isn't close.

These guys need to be on the court AT THE SAME TIME.

Sully/KO/Fav/  even bass and hump are pretty good soo..

it makes perfect sense to play green and wallace at the 2/3.
ESPECIALLY when dwayne wade, ray allen, kobe bryant, paul pierce and Kevin Durant are NOT on your team to play SG minutes.
Our other options at SG (i know we have like 5 but pleeease) are so much worse.  Please no more 30 minute courtney lee at SG games.  My eyes can't handle it.

I can't stand this thread.  The answer is neither yes or no.  hoping this thread disappears.

I want to see Green at PF, Sully at C, Wallace at SF,  Pressey at PG and AB at SG.

What do you envision?

A starting lineup of:

Bradley
Green
Wallace
Sullinger
Humphries

?

How about going small?

Bradley
Lee
Green
Wallace
Sullinger
