Faverani has looked pretty good the first two games.  He's a better athlete than I expected.  The left-handed dunk over Powell took good body control and hops.  I expected to be turned off by excessive fouls and turnovers (and regular season intensity could certainly magnify those weaknesses) but I've been much more impressed with his motor, physicality and skill level.  I mean, of course they NOW get a 7-footer with some skill level and strength.  I wished they had Faverani and Olynyk last year.  Come on Ainge!  Hell, if Pierce and KG weren't on a championship-caliber team, I would want them on this year's team.

I'm right there with you on Faverani.  Bigs with his combination of physicality, mobility, hands and finishing ability are pretty rare.  He absolutely looks like an NBA-quality player.

He reminds me of Pekovic big strong guy that cand rebound and finish inside plus Fav has a good jumper pretty good for the 2 mill he's getting.

Word is, lol from all the stuff I have read this off season, he was a 3&D player in college. From the look of tonight, he did just what the reports say. I know it's one preseason game but if he can play more and perform close to tonight, that is a guy that fits perfectly with RR (Pressey also since he is a past first type too)!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Lee was also a much more promising player as a young guy coming off the bench in Orlando. Used to give the C's fits--which may have still been in memory when Danny and Doc signed him.

Call me crazy but I would rather have Pressey, Fav and Babb on the roster rather than Brooks and Crawford.

I'm with you. Vitor is the most valuable, but I'd take Pressey and Babb's attitude over Brooks and Crawford. Before too long I bet Stevens would too.

Was at the game. So much for Brook's homecoming. Brooks does not look like an athlete out there. He walks around with his hand on his hip. He looks soft and he plays soft. He is not Kobe. I cannot understand how someone with the opportunities he has been given can treat them so lightly.

Jeff Green is also infuriating. He has yet to attack the basket; but seems to still be shooting OK and did play some D.

Sullinger is so out of shape. Was shocking that someone with back issues would not try to control their weight more carefully. Again, they have one job that they get paid really well for.

Pressey, Faverani and Babb all looked solid.

Bradley is not a point guard; but played well if out of position.

Gerald Wallace will be a fan favorite before long. Love his energy. He and Carmelo were going at it pretty good.

Tiny sample, of course, but Green's shooting .200 from the 3 and .353 overall.
