Are you rooting for the Nets more than the Celtics this year ?

So is the question basically if the Celtics played the nets in the playoffs who would I root for? The celtics.

But as far as being realistic I will be rooting hard for the nets mainly kg and pierce for the entire season and obviously I think they have a good chance. Plus it will be more fun to route for brooklyn against miami ny etc than thr celtics sgainst those team.

If the Celtics are out of the playoffs, I'll root for KG, Pierce and the Jet to win their second ring. Not rooting for the Nets, but if The Captain has to win another championship, Kidd and the other ones will win one, too.

I also root for the Clippers to come out of the West, and then lose to the Celtics. If the Cs can't come out of the East, I hope it's KG and Pierce's team.

It would be nice, but I can't see it happening in the immediate future.

My rooting interests:

1.  Celtics to win a title;
2.  Celtics to get a good draft pick;
3.  Nets to win a title.

I can't see #1 being realistic, so I'll root for the Celtics to get a nice lottery pick and the Nets to win a title.

I add rooting for the C's talent to all progress to that list Roy.

Rondo needs to get back to what he was before his injury (and step into a new role more effectively than he did last year), Green needs to build on his second half, Sullinger needs to take the next step and become a legit starting caliber player, and Bradley needs to find some kind of offensive game.

KO needs to show he belongs too I guess, but I temper my thoughts on him as I've only seen so little.

A good draft pick is awesome, but we need the rest of the roster to show something too.

this has to be a joke, right?  If you're rooting for the Nets over the Celtics then that right there demonstrates what a garbage C's fan you are. 

For me, I'm a Celtics fan through and through.  I love the NBA,I enjoy watching other teams but at the end of the day I'm die hard Celtics fan even during rebuilding seasons.  And NO I do not want to see Pierce win a Championship in Brooklyn.  I want he and KG's best memories and ONLY Title to be 2008. 

And I DO NOT like the Brooklyn Nets.  Even with KG and PP.  I will root for them to beat Miami.  that's it. 

If I'm picking a team besides the Celtics to win then I'm going with the Spurs.  Used to work for them.  Love that organization and city.  The players and coaches do things the right way.  I hope they can get 1 more ring for Duncan before his time is over.

If I wanted to root for the Nets, I would be over on the Nets Blog.  Celtics now, Celtics always.

That said, of course I will keep an eye on how the exCeltics are doing, as I always have.  I still fee that Danny's judgement was questionable on this one, though.

I would be absolutely ecstatic if the Celtics finished with a better record than the Nets this year.

I am all for KG and PP succeeding, but I am a selfish fan and don't want them to win a championship with another team - to me, it will take away a little bit from the one they already won.
