For a perfectionist this time must be mind blowing .

All the new players, new league, new city, new boss,  everything form scratch and your best player and floor captain is out.  Not like he is walking into a established team with a set starting lineup.

I'm amazed he is putting on a good show as he has with so little time to prepare.

He gets an  "A".  for effort  and dealing with this mess and still making the Celtics look professional .

He's also dealing with a much higher caliber of player than he had at Butler. I expect he's still enjoying that luxury.

Its still early but some things i dont like stevens doing

- letting ab be a pg.  Crawford and pressey look like better options

- letting or asking olynyk to roam on the perimeter majority of the time on the offensive end. He can play the game there but should make his mark downlow more.

Other than these two things im ok with his experiments etc. I hope he gives pressey more time

I think Stevens caught that, especially with Pressy. His quick choice to make adjustments in the NY game was just amazing. 4th quarter down by 20, I was just about to turn off the TV, but then Pressy, Vitor, and Babbs came along...

I agree a bit on KO though. I think KO's offense can be worked on a bit. He has potential and shows it on the court...maybe just preseason and he is protecting our assets but who knows, we will know more tonight in game 3 of the preseason

I agree with the AB at PG comment. I think by this point he should have seen enough to move AB back over to SG, and perhaps try a lineup with Pressey and AB backcourt.

I would like to see lineups like a Pressey, AB, Green, Sully, and Fav.See how some of those guys mesh together... perhaps a bench of Wallace and KO, with more time for Babb too, so we can see what he can do with extended time with probable starter/rotation players.

Listening to the broadcast a few times where at the huddles Stevens is preaching for the defense to tighten up and offense to loosen up. Even when up by 20.

Pretty good basic strategy if you ask me.

Great first win tonight for our new coach
