Zero rim protection, no real pg until rondo returns, 25-30 wins at best.

Really like sully and KO , especially if we can find a legit shot blocking center to use as our big rotation

I was flipping back and forth between the C's and the Sox/Rays game.

From what I saw, I like Humphries as a player.

I think Celtics fans are really going to warm up to him.

Stevens style is more fun to watch, yet alot of the roster needs to go.

Could you elaborate a little more? Admittedly I didn't watch alot of the game.

Which players looked good and which didn't?

Just trying to get a pulse on this team

Thanks.

Couldn't agree more. I was never a fan of Humphries, I always thought of him as a waste of height. But he is taking charges, very aware on the court. I think if he can start grabbing more boards he's going to get some love from Boston.

The pace was much quicker on offence with solid passing and less the PG "pounding" the ball style that we saw under Doc.  Already, the spacing looks surprisingly good and during many plays, there looked to be lots of different secondary and tertiary scoring options, but of course this new system was new to all of us, players, coaches and fans alike.  I agree about Humphries, where his energy and effort seems contagious like Bradley's.  As others said, the bigger line-up with Sully, Olynk and Wallace has tremendous possibilities and I'm guessing will prove to be quite the challenge for other team's to anticipate tendencies and guard.  Between, Jared and Kelly's passing, alot of easy looks in the paint should really open up.  Still, we have so much flotsam on the roster, and I'm really hoping only Rondo, AB, JG, Sully, Olynk and now Humph are here long term.

Humphries and Wallace will quickly become fan favorites; they will both be gone before the draft next summer.

I think they're a little too good.

[Bradley-Green-Wallace-Olynyk-Sullinger] might be the season opening starting lineup.

I don't want Green at the SG spot.  I could see Sully over Hump at the 5, Green and Wallace as the interchangeable forwards, and probably Lee at the 2-guard.  Be nice to give Lee a shot to build up some value, if he has a good couple of months he might still have value for a contender.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
loads of jumpshots and dominated by a 19 year old center inside wondering what happens when we play taller teams with a dominant big man and we got forced out of the paint by the Raptors not looking good.

second sentence would be that it's the first game but I don't expect much.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
