I think this clown just likes to see his name in print.  Glad to get rid of him.  Lousy coach.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

it's easy for him to say now that KG is in Brooklyn and Jordan is still on the Clippers. His comments regarding how good Jordan is are pretty exaggerated. Doc, always the politician.

This is just PR and Doc trying to motivate his own player.

It's nonsense, though.

jeez, i know a coach wants to pump up his team but this guy's reminding me more of a WWF manager then an NBA head coach! I think he ought to name Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart as his assistants!
If the Clippers players needed this much ego boosting you'd think they were a losing middle school girls team last year, not an NBA contender.

take it down a notch Doc! :)

What is he supposed to say at this point?

I don't get the Doc bashing.

Danny traded him.  Maybe Doc asked for a trade, maybe he insisted on a trade, who knows, who cares.

He is gone and is trying to do whatever is best for his new team.

All the ones hating on him used to love him, but now they're hurt that he left us. Move on peeps!

It doesn't have to necessarily be "bashing" when you note that the guy is making ridiculously hyperbolic statements.

For instance, saying that DeAndre Jordan is one of only five (or fewer) defenders in the NBA who can take over a game...  that's just silly.

I just don't get it. First Ray, now Doc. Unnecessarily running their mouths about their former team. Both were considered such classy guys and are acting like jaded exes. Even if the organization did them dirty (which I don't believe happened in either case), be the bigger man.

Two guys that I really respected while here are looking like true clowns.

Pierce is the only one who has the right to be upset with the team and he has only taken the high road with all of his comments, while coming off as genuine. He admits it hurt and he didn't want to leave but gets it.

Pierce has really matured into a class act since his early days in the NBA, and Ray and Doc have turned into spoiled divas.

Sure thing, Doc.  ::)

Now how am I supposed to believe anything you've ever said?  DJ is basically Perk 2.0.  Good player, but not a game changer, and late game situation liability.

No GM in their right mind wouldn't trade DJ for KG.
