Did Jennings play SG? How is his passing compared to other SG's?

Just wondering.

Jennings is a PG, played PG, but I guess has a SG's type of game. Shoot first point guard
Then how do his numbers stack up to other PG's, I guess is what I was asking :)

Here's his career ast% against other point guards of equal or better talent who're roughly the same age (22-24)

Jennings: 28%
Jrue Holiday: 28%
Derrick Rose: 33%
John Wall: 38%
Russell Westbrook: 35%

This stat just shows who has the ball in their  hands the most.

Erm, not really, although I can sort of see where you're coming from.

From BR:

Quote
Assist percentage is an estimate of the percentage of teammate field goals a player assisted while he was on the floor.

As they're all point guards, they're all going to have the ball in their hands for a large period of time. I chose points who are roughly the same age and have about as many seasons played as Jennings as a comparison.

Now, I suppose you could say that Jennings's assist percentage was lowered by playing in a back court with Monta Ellis for a season and a half, but that's why I went with career, and I also don't think that's a very legitimate contradiction anyway. :P

Ellis, for the record, has a career assist percentage of 21.7%
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
