Thought this was too good to not share. I've always hated...HATED...Brandon Jennings, and Sanders has slowly become an irresistible favorite of mine (and to many others its seems as well). So to hear this perfect shot at Jennings was great to me.

In response to Brandon Jennings comments on playing with better big men in Detroit.

Sanders replied, "He has to pass it to them first."

Classic.

I didn't even know he was in Detroit

Oh, yeah. Didn't you know that Detroit's a title contender this year with Jennings and Josh Smith?  ;D

How many of their season ticket holders go bald by seasons end with Smith and Jennings jacking up brick after brick?! Lol

It is pretty funny, but it wasn't like Jennings said anything that wasn't true.  I mean Drummond and Monroe are a lot better than Sanders and Co.

I don't know how true the part about Jennings is.  His career AST% is 28 and was over 29 last year.  That certainly isn't an elite passers number, but it also isn't that bad either.

Did Jennings play SG? How is his passing compared to other SG's?

Just wondering.

Jennings is a PG, played PG, but I guess has a SG's type of game. Shoot first point guard

Then how do his numbers stack up to other PG's, I guess is what I was asking :)

Here's his career ast% against other point guards of equal or better talent who're roughly the same age (22-24)

Jennings: 28%
Jrue Holiday: 28%
Derrick Rose: 33%
John Wall: 38%
Russell Westbrook: 35%

They might not be title contenders, but they're going to be a playoff team this year.

Sets featuring Smith, Monroe, and/or Drummond are going to be excellent on the inside, defensively and offensively. When there are 3 starters that can average double-doubles, it will be very hard to rebound against them. We'll see how important spacing really is because this can be an advantage or a disaster. IMO, the defensive impact > offensive spacing. Jennings can play an important part in which direction it goes.

Excellent response by Sanders though... Funny ish.

we have yet to see them all play together. They look promising on paper and should have no trouble making the playoffs, but we don't know what the chemistry is, heck we don't even know about injuries

Last year, Josh Smith had knee problems, and Drummond had back problems...as far as minutes goes, who starts and who comes off the bench

UNLESS -> SF - Josh Smith, Greg Monroe - PF and Drummond - Center

in which their FT% is going to be horrible, but scary on the defensive end
