I guess he's going to China figuring it's a sure way back on to the C's roster later this year following the Shavlik career course

Somewhat interesting. I'll assume this means Ainge wants to offer somebody a minimum salary that can also be dropped by the cutoff date in January (February? I forget now) leaving them still able to be under the cap.

Is Telfair still on the radar? It would make sense to have another PG given their reassessment (or admission) of Rondo's actual return date

We must also consider the possibility that a trade is in the works and a roster spot is needed. Likely though it is a FA being invited to camp for a minimum salary slot as earlier suggested.
