KG said it in an interview in China, but only a Chinese translated version is available.

Quote

My English translation (pardon for my poor English  ;D)

Quote
Question: How did you feel after practicing with Deron Williams? Compared to Rondo, who do you think is better?

KG: My view (Rondo is the best point guard in NBA) hasn't changed since the Boston days. I know how hard Rondo works, training day and night. He always wants to play the game in the right way. He's clutch. He gives all he has to the team. He's the teammate we'd love to play with. As for Deron, this is the first time we team up. I've known he's a hard working player through the first training practice. However, only game will tell how far we can go. I'm fully looking forward to play with another great point guard this season.

I would say that that's just KG being real like always but it could be him trying to motivate DWill, he's know to do both. To me, it's no question anymore that a healthy RR is better than DW.

I still love KG but anytime he plays us, he's the "enemy", I don't care if the Nets need a victory against us to make the playoffs when we are already out... I want us to beat every team no matter what, but I'd get over it quicker if we lost, b/c of my love for KG and PP.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

TP.

The English is good.

It's really really bittersweet seeing KG on a contender, but with another team.

Not me.  Under those circumstances, I would want the Nets to win and move on to beat the Heat.  I expect to be a part time Nets fan this year.

Hopefully KG will inspire Williams some.  He's always been a plus defender but there's plenty of room for improvement.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

So, am I the only one who saw the thread title and thought to themselves, "KG likes poop"?

Who's Do Do?

"Do Do" Was the nickname, I believe, affectionally given to Rajon by none other than Shaquille O'Neal while he was in Boston.

Boston was like 40-11 while Shaq was healthy for BOS..we were rolling over everyone during that time...I remember Shaq giving that nickname to Rajon.

"Do Do" (I think pronounced "Doh Doh") is I believe a very rare bird...so Shaq gave that nickname to Rajon because we all know that Rajon's game is indeed RARE...he's a PURE PG, a dying breed.

I love the way KG worded this...I really hope that he, Paul, Jet, Deron, JJ and Co enjoy success at the expense of MIA this season.

Ah gotcha....only the likes of Shaq or KG would come up with something like that (lol)

Worst thing about Shaq's retirement (other than the injury circumstances) has got to be the unimaginative nicknames that have overrun the NBA.

It's either first initial-last initial-jersey number or first initial-last name/last name abbreviated.

I agree. I mean if it's down to the Lakers, Heat, and Nets, of course I want the Nets to win, but if PP and KG win a championship this year, it will feel like their championship with us is a little less meaningful [to me anyway]. I get that this a selfish attitude, but I didn't really like when Ray Bourque played an amazing and long career in Boston and then just joined up with the Avalanche and won (though I care a LOT more about the Cs than the Bs).
