Terrible.  I was only a couple of years younger than Avery when I lost my mom, and it was hard to concentrate on much of anything for at least a year.  My heart breaks for him.

Avery seems like a kid who has done nothing but conduct himself the way fans want the professional athletes that we admire and root for to conduct themselves.  For that, he's already won over the hearts of many of us.  We rarely talk about PPGs and PERs and WinShares when we talk about why we are glad Avery Bradley is on our side. 

I can only imagine the pain and grief that comes with losing your mother at so young an age.  I send my thoughts, my love, and my prayers to Avery and his family.
