How do you know that's a fact?

Because after reading the interview transcript, it doesn't look like Doc wanted to leave (if he's telling the truth.)

It looked like Danny was hell bent on blowing the team up and pushing Doc, Pierce and KG out the door.

Again, I don't necessarily mind that Danny did all that.

I think it was likely time for a change. But, it doesn't seem like Danny has clear-cut plan for what direction to lead this team, post KG, Pierce and Doc.

This current Celtics roster is all over the place.

I was thinking more or less of the same thing. I see this in both ways and it worked out for both parties. No harm no foul. Whether or not Doc wanted to stay is irrelevant. At the end, Danny wanted to rebuild and Doc would be an expensive coach for a rebuilding team. At the end, both parties won.

What do you mean?

I'm guessing the whole nobody wants to rebuild they just want to win championship thing.

Doc kinda skirted that during this whole thing. Especially his claims that it was just as much the celtics as him.
