There´s no certainty for Green's future as the leading scorer for the Cs, but he did very well in the playoffs, and if he's willing to keep improving, he can be an essential part of the Celtics. And I'm rooting for him to be that, don't care about the All-Star/Super Star/Franchise player rethoric, or the 1/2/3 classification. The Celtics need players that can help the team by defending, scoring, rebounding and blocking shots. He can be one of our starters for a long time.
Green's game can complement Rondo's game, as he can shoot from 3 and drive to the basket with good %. Of course, Green and Rondo are entering their primes, and they should put some work on their weaknesses to make themselves and the team better. Add a big man who can pass and score in the post and you have the foundation of a great team. We'll see.
