Olynyk #2 voted by his peers to be ROY

Last year Lillard who was drafted #6 was also #2 voted by his peers.

Actually he was #3 because there was a tie for #1, but still impressive.

And more impressively he was tied for #1 for who will have the best career. (Better than ROY in my opinion).

Then oddly, he also finished tied for #1 for most overlooked.

No votes for best shooter though.

By my calcs, that means:

6 out of 33 rookies think he'll be ROY
6 out of 33 rookies think he'll have the best career.
3 out of 35 rookies think he is the most overlooked.
0 out of 36 rookies think he is the best shooter (and 12 different guys got at least one vote here).

Overall though, these are the things I like to hear.

Good points. Its been a while we had a rookie with this much hype since pp/rondo.

actually, I am curious to see what their peers thought in 1998 (Pierce) and Rondo (06-07)

They just started this survey in 2009-2010 year? So we wouldnt know

Still crazy that pp and rondo were drafted later than they should have. Pp should of gone top 5 and rondo at least in the lotto.

ok makes sense. But yea I agree, now that I look back at it. Pierce could have went lotto as well if not top 2.

Then Rondo definitely was a lotto worthy pick in 06

Let's hope Kelly pans out well. Tanking, or no tanking, or whatever the deal is, Celtics basketball can't return fast enough!!! Training camp, pre-season, give me anything!

I think in his rookie season (assuming he is healthy) Olynyk will be good for about 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists in about 29 minutes of play.

If he gets sufficient minutes (at least 32 MPG) I can see Sullinger averaging a modest double-double.  Someting like 14 points and 10 rebounds.

I see Green's numbers hovering around the 20 PPG / 6 RPG / 3 APG mark, right around what he averaged in the games he started last season.

Bradley I can see averaging around 12 PPG (with NBA-best perimeter defense)

Rondo I see averaging around 17 / 9 / 5
