This from Rotoworld via Gary Washburn on twitter. See link below:

Keyon Dooling certainly comes to mind...any ideas on who else could fill this role?

So he thinks that the Celts might hire a former player as an assistant coach? It would probably be fairly unusual if they didn't.

Here's the original tweet from Washburn.  These people are hysterical.  I love how they constantly attempt to create "stories" out of nothing.

They need to get a life . . . oh wait, this is their life.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

Yeah, their life is making up stories like this as they follow the 24 hour sports news cycle . . . and they get paid to do it.

Doesn't sound so bad.

Sam Cassell would fit in well
Not only help coach him, but help with his back to basket game and jumper
Can't stop, Rondo!

"Source close to the team".

Does Washburn consider himself and his imagination a source close to the team?

Nice tie in to the whole "Rondo is a maniac image" the media is constructing.

TP - I love the Cassell idea. He is a pg, proven winner and leader, and has even played with Rondo / the Celtics in the past (during their championship run).

My sentimental choice would be Antoine, but that would be too much to ask...

the celts should hire an assistant coach thats best for the team, not specific for one player.....especially your "franchise" player who is also supposed to be your leader.

I don't know if Keyon is still looking for a job as a player, but if not (or if he doesn't get one), I think he'd be the perfect choice.

I'm sure Antoine would be a great role model for Rondo. Just give Twoine one year with Rondo and he'll be jacking up 3's and getting kicked out of Mohegan Sun in no time.

Rondo could use a little more Antoine at times, huge emphasis on the word "little".

Yeah, because Antoine wasn't the vocal leader and leader on the floor who made a mediocre team play at a much higher level. He only shot 3s - that's all he knew how to do and nothing more.

Sometimes I wish KG and Ray never came to town - people have totally forgotten what it was like to cheer for an underdog team...I guess this year folks should fasten their seatbelts - although now the majority just seem to want to tank.

Wow, let the man live! They treat him as if he's a child or a nutcase. I don't think I've ever heard Rondo say anything bad about this organization, and yet he gets all this crap...

I agree, he has been 100% team all through the ugly trades talk.....and all while he was out injured...CP3 has had so many rants and had a coach fired...then cried for trades....still they talk of love for HIM....same with deron.....rondo hasn't done any of this...he just gives 1005 on the floor.....I think he is a great Celtic..!!!
