Seriously though, Batum was the biggest reason I was trying to get into the 3rd. This guy is the most underrated player in the league, and he's easily a top 5 SF in my eyes. I mean, the kid is [REDACTED] with a smoother offensive game. He's already recorded the first 5x5 since [REDACTED]. And he's just 24?! There are guys in the 2nd I would take Batum over.

Worthy third round pick, but we've now seen GMs singing the praises of Aldridge, Lillard AND Batum. So why were the Trailblazers a lottery team?

They loss their last 13 games in an attempt to tank. (At least I'd assume because losing 13 games in a row when you are 33-36 doesn't make sense)

No bench whatsoever. Portland was rolling as a >.500 team for the first half of the season. Once the minutes caught up to the starters and they started breaking down, they imploded. With this offseason's acquisitions, Portland will easily make the Western playoffs.

I like the Lawson pick by AB and the Pekovic pick by WW. Nice fits for both teams.

Detroit selects Bradley Beal

Shoutout to my co-GM who called this pick. Personally, I love Beal and his future prospects, but 3rd round is way too premature.

Most of the thirds were not on my list  :-\ and their is still so much talent left.

I'm gonna gamble mire on the pick than the player. I'm taking a shooting guard who isn't on the way down or just a gunner.

I present to you the future of the Phoenix Suns:

Jimmy Butler
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Another nice grab, not elite yet and a little bit of an unknown still but nice grab.

Youth seems to be ruling the roost in this draft.

Wow, shoutout to my co-GM once again for predicting Butler to go in this round. Like Beal, this is just way too early IMO. Great fit next to West/Duncan though.

If Klay can go 3.1 then no doubt Beal is a 3rd rounder

The last few picks devastated my list, but oh well.

Orlando Kobes will select Omer Asik, for rebounding and D.

Not only is Klay a more prolific shooter, but his defense is far superior. Furthermore, Beal spent the majority of his second half of his rookie year as well as this offseason rehabbing from injury. That's a huge obstacle towards his development. Drafting Beal in the 3rd seems more based off potential than actual value.
