here is my vote:

Eastern Conference:

Pacers
Knicks
Cavs
Hawks
Bulls
Heat
Celtics
Magic
Bucks
Wizards
Nets
Pistons
Sixers

Western Conference:
Wolves
Mavs
Rockets
Warriors
Clippers
Thunder
Blazers
Nuggets
Lakers
Suns
Spurs
Grizzlies

Don't know if you think a Chris Paul-led team is really the worst in the West or MEM tardiness w/ a presser cost us.

It's HERE now if it's not too late

the first

wow... care to elaborate... It's no skin off my back, but I'm curious your line of thinking.

TP for your thoughts. :)

u lack depth and star power.  outside of cp3, you have mediocre/servicable players at best imo.  ur team isnt bad imo, just the the west has a lot of good teams.  someone has to be first and someone has to be last in this thing

What's CB's fascination with Nic Batum? I like his game, but he seems his best performanes, and there are some great ones, loom large and eclipse his generally average play. Check his playoffs stats if you don't believe me. My sixth man, Thadd Young is the same age and a better player. He doesn't hit the three or handle the ball, but he's still equals Nic's offensive output by shooting 10% better from the floor and rebounding, while contributing more on the defensive end.

Much of Batum's "averageness" last season was a byproduct of being thrust into an impossible workload. He played a full 8 minutes more than the previous season, and was responsible for basically every fathomable role you can imagine on a team: defensive anchor, playmaker, perimeter threat, post player, so on. I like Thaddeus Young but he has nothing on Batum. Batum is one of the most versatile and underrated small forwards in the league.

Just wondering, how much did star power play in your rankings? I think it's interesting how the Pacers, Clippers, Warriors, and Blazers are ranked so highly (at least in my opinion) whereas cohesive but less marketable teams such as the Bucks, Wizards, Lakers, Suns, Spurs, and Grizzlies are very low seeded.

what do love and granger both have in common....injuries. outside of those two and iggy, ur team doesnt impress me as much as the other teams do in the west

What do Love and Granger and the Mavericks and Knicks team you ranked at the top have in common... injuries.

Kevin Love 57 games per season. Danny Granger 64 games per season.

Ricky Rubio 42 games per season. Kevin Martin 57 games per season. Channing Frye 63 games per season. Brook Lopez 65 games per season. Jeff Green 66 games per season.

Dallas has Eric Gordon and his chronic injuries. 49 games per season. Steve Nash, 50 games last year, 62 the season before that and he'll turn 40 in February. Kaman average 61 games per season and has appeared in 66, 47, 32, over the past three years.

Did you think about fit or depth at all? And like TWW, I also want to how you factored in injuries. Not that it affects my team, but it's unusual where you have ranked some more health-dependent teams.

STATEMENT

So as people start to publish their votes, I want to say that I want all responses to be respectful and within the rules of everything we have done here so far. There is a ton of parity this year and after 16 votes, some wildly divergent ballots.

So not everyone is going to see things the same way so I would like to keep questions regarding ballots as cordial and non-confrontational as they can be. I am not saying they have not been thus far. I want to commend everyone on the ways things have gone down but when you see the all results you will see that this year, there is no consensus on team placement from ballot to ballot.

It should make things very interesting!!! :D

What do Love and Granger and the New York Knicks team you ranked second best in the East (?) have in common... injuries.

Kevin Love 57 games per season. Danny Granger 64 games per season.

Ricky Rubio 42 games per season. Kevin Martin 57 games per season. Channing Frye 63 games per season. Brook Lopez 65 games per season. Jeff Green 66 games per season.

there are differences, especially in depth. aside from zbo being a beast imo, hinrich is a starting level pg (and can be a combo guard)that is more than capable of handling the job if rubio is out (as is udrih)

like i said before, ur team outside of cp3, is a collection of mediocre/serviceable role players at best imo.  i see no depth on ur team

Forwards: Kevin Love, Danny Granger, Thaddeus Young, Luigi Datome, Donatas Motiejunas, DeMarre Carroll
Centers:JaVale McGee, Cody Zeller
Coach: Rick Carlisle

Most overrated. Where his numbers much better over the past two years?

Or check those awful playoff stats.

10-11 *his best performance*: 8 points on 41% shooting, 1.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 turnovers, 113 DRtg in 25 minutes per.

Young the same age, same year: 11.4 points on 42% shooting, 5.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.4 turnovers 111 DRtg in 25 minutes per.

to be honest...multiple people are asking me questions at the same time about my voting and im getting people confused with what team they represent.

truth is, i printed out all the rosters and studied them, purposely leaving the gm's name not on the list, so it was purely on the list.  i read pressers, i put in some posts in various threads during the whole draft.

i put in a lot of time breaking things down and thought into my vote.  u guys don't like my vote, too bad. u have a legit question or problem....pm me

absoletly i factored in "fit and depth"....u think i vote blindly or was naive?  injuries factored in multiple ways. whether they will be healthy to start season, severity of injury, injury prone history, and the quality player thats injured and their role on a team (someone that is a focal point of the team's success having an injury is more impactful than a smaller piece to a larger puzzle)

see the following:
