Not sure why the fixation on the Green-Gay portion of the deal.

Upgrading from Felton to Rubio makes NY a lot better, IMO.

i think there is a bigger decrepency between gay and green, than there is on rubio and felton. not to mention felton had a solid year, while rubio came back from an injury

This.

Also Rubio's FG% is terrible.

Considering the wealth of offense from 2-5 on that team, NY could care less about Rubio's scoring. His playmaking will be an incredibly valuable asset to that team though.

Yeah, that's how I see it.

Rubio's playmaking combined with Green's better defense makes New York better overall.

I have no comment about their defense, but I will say that Gay is a poor, poor fit for LA. Why complement a super athletic forward without a perimeter game with another super athletic forward without a perimeter game? This also negatively affects Afflalo, who is not that great of a 3-point shooter when the floor spacing isn't there. Last season in Orlando, his 3FG% took a huge nose dive when he was tasked with creating his own shot as a more focal point of the offense. Furthermore, without many out-of-position playmakers on the team, I'm not sure how LA can afford to downgrade from Rubio to Felton.

I honestly don't think either team won the trade by a lot.   Maybe NY by a little.

Not sold on Jeff Green.  Rubio is maybe an upgrade.

That's where I'm at.

Bt I think a better way to look at it is. Rondo bargs harkless for rubio, green , zbo. That's a win.

So LA essentially trades Derrick Rose and some draft picks for Raymond Felton and Rudy Gay?

The other LA team is sniffing around for some moves. Shoot me or rondoallaturca any ideas!

I think people need to take a second and look at my trade. I traded a sixth man and a player who's never made an all-star game. I acquired an MVP caliber player who is a walking triple-double and is one of the few players to go head-to-head with LeBron James and triumph.

I understand the injury but look at medicine and look at athletes today like Robert Griffin and Adrian Peterson, and Rajon Rondo is in that caliber of athlete. I believe he will come back with a vengeance since no one has a bigger chip on their shoulder. Everyone is writing him off, and I think he's so competitive he will perform to shut ppl up.

I think the trade worked for both. Derozan and gay are almost the same player from a metric stand point. I think gay is more explosive and flashy but from a quality performance overall there similar.

I also believe in rondos ability to be like manning or Brady and make ppl better. He pretty much did that with the big three and he will do that with LA, Roy and the rest.

Okc got better with their front court in the east and I believe rondo makes me better considering I gave up one all star who was my sixth man and gained an MVP caliber difference maker who makes everyone better.

That's interesting. Im not saying it's wrong, but quite a few people would argue that it was the big 3 who made Rondo better.

Comparing our playoff run this year to last year I completely disagree.
