Alright with the 11th pick and his return to the court the L.A. Clippers select Derrick Rose

A steal. People will see this year that him waiting a year was a great choice.

I was debating him for #20, but I said no as he is not a guy I want leading my team.

So, just to clarify, you're saying that Derrick Rose isn't worthy of a top 20 pick?

I didnt have him top 20 but thats because I get very turned off by players who don't want to get back on the court ASAP.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

How do you shut off the thing that prevents you from posting if somebody else did?

I got burned by that in the Pick2 draft and be [dang]ed if it happens again!

I pegged him as a first rounder but I thought he would drop significantly because of the injuries.

He's a great pick, but good luck trying to defend him. Injuries here in this draft, from Torn ACL's to a blister can break your team.

Either way, I think he's a top 5 player, and a steal at this point.

While yes he tore his ACL that was over 12 months ago. He is fully recovered and ready. Waiting a season and a half was the right choice. He'll be 100% and ready to go.

You better hope that you manage to put together a title contender. Otherwise he might sit out the season to make sure he doesn't jeopardize his dazzlingly bright future...

I suggest that you start sketching up some LeBron James trade offers.

While I definitely agree with the bolded part, there's no way that itself is going to take a player of Rose's caliber out of the top 20. That's way too extreme.

I dunno, didnt take the SAT's and doesnt want to help his team in the playoffs?  Not my kinda guy in the top 20.  I'd be looking for a leader to go along with the talent at that level.

2nd on the PG list.
I had Rose 10th but only because of the unknown of how he will return. If I knew 100% he was 100%, he would have been top 5.

Is that taking into account that he needs to feel 110% to play even if his team is in the playoffs?  He won't play if he is 100%.

Is your assessment taking into account he is merely 23 years old and does not want to ruin his career before even entering his prime?

Took that into consideration. I also took into consideration that when he plays he plays at an MVP caliber.
