Sorry fellas, I am traveling.  I will take a guy who's used to building a strategy around superstar talent and has a couple of rings to show for it - Eric Spoelstra.

What are you doing traveling? You have a fantasy basketball league to attend to...

This deserves a TP.

My joke or terrible grammar?

Legitimately surprised by the lack of movement this weekend.

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

No one's team has been "creamed" yet.  No one is feeling the "pressure" to make big changes.

Except for mine. I already rebuilt by round 2. The next two days are going to be interesting. With most teams have their first fives set, it will be a free for all to build a solid bench.

Fortunately, in the benxh mob department, I dont have too.

Just one more question about coaches.

Are we only allowed to pick current coaches/assitant coaches or are we alllowed to pick retired gentlemen as well?

Its always been rather vague but as long as they are alive, I guess people who are considered "retired" or "unemployed" are fair game.

Coaches round is bull-stuff

Why?

Coaches are more important than the 13th man on a roster.  Why shouldn't they be considered?

I mean, I like the old days when coaches were often fictional characters, because that added a silly element of fun.  However, with coaches playing such a vital role in real life, why is it "bull-stuff" for them to play a role in team evaluation?

I just don't like the way it is handled.  It's supposed to be important, but it's obvious few actually give it much thought or credence.

Either it needs to have real weight, and therefore have restrictions on who can be picked, or not.

I find the current "system" to be a farce.  Ultimately, I'll refer you to Buzz Killington, I find it just sucks the fun out of the whole thing.  I know it has for me.
