I think the style of defense that the Celtics play should determine the tempo of offense that flows from that defense.

I suggest a style of defense that results in uptempo opportunities for the offense.  By that, I mean lots of pressure, and lots of playing the passing lanes for steals and deflections.

Yet quite a few "star" players seem to play for the dramatic steal rather than being solid and fundamental.  To my eye, anyway.
