Rondo always seemed like a Denny's guy to me. I'm disappointed.
Given it's racist past, I have a problem imagining any black man being a Denny's guy.

In the '90s, Denny's got hit with a huge class-action lawsuit because black customers would get inferior service, if they even got served at all. Stuff like only black families being asked to produce a birth certificate for a child when trying to use the promotion for a free meal on your birthday. One of the biggest black marks happened on the day that settlement of the suit was announced and a group of Secret Service agents. The black agents had to wait an hour for their food to be served (which ultimately took too long, so they had to order food elsewhere), the white agents were supposedly getting second helpings.
Rondo may not be old enough to remember the details of that case, but if he ever expressed a desire to eat as Denny's as a teenager, he probably would have been told about the case if he was in the company of an adult African-American.
