Yes, "interesting" is one word to describe it.  His premise is that the knicks will implode (very possible in my opinion) but he makes no mention of Brooklyn. Brooklyn is going to be a very good team in my opinion and should win the division.

In terms of the Celtics, he is saying Rondo and Green can carry the team to the top of the division.  I don't know about that.  I just don't see enough talent.

Here is the writer' Bio:

Quote
Craig Pisani

Craig is a two time graduate from the College of Staten Island, earning Bachelor degrees in both Cinema Studies as well as English with a writing concentration. He graduated at the top of his class, receiving the Elliot Rubenstein Memorial award at graduation. He has also excelled in the game of pool, winning multiple Staten Island championships and captaining a team to 65th place out of 615 teams during national competition in Las Vegas

Yeah, not much credibility there.

Actually, the article just seems like it's starting from a highly improbable/nigh-impossible premise, and trying to find reasons to make it seem plausible. It's not a prediction, so much as a thought piece.

Like a "Five Reasons why Donald Trump will win the 2016 Election" piece.

I am very optimistic about this team's chances to be decent next year, but I think this guy takes "yahoo" to a new level.  This is a fan(atic) post.  While he makes some decent points, he overstates them to the point of absurdity.

Yahoo Contributor Network = writers not good enough for Bleacher Report.

This is poorly thought out nonsense.

Yeah, I think the Celtics will be decent this year too but winning the division is certainly over the top and seems to be nothing more than going for shock value.

His experience in winning pool championships really comes through in this article.

An article that has the Celtics having a good year without discussing the potential great perimeter defense we may have or the potentially improved rebounding we may have has little credibility with me. Without these two aspects coming to fruition, our team will severely struggle.

At least there is one optimistic Celtic fan out there. I applaud him and agree with his five points for sure. Winning the division will be a tough feat but its certainly not out of reach.

For what it's worth Wages of Wins are also very down on the Knicks and Nets.  They have the Raptors ahead of both teams.  The reason is that they rate Bargnani as such a huge negative win share.

Personally I see Nets, Knicks, Celtics, Raptors and Sixers, although I wouldn't be surprised if we overtake the Knicks.

As the roster in constructed right now, they are too reliant on Carmelo having an MVP type year.  That roster is not that impressive without Anthony.  Losing Kidd also has to hurt that locker room a lot.
