If he is healthy this might end up being a good deal for the Wizards.

Meh, seems like fair-market price for Wall.

Just makes you appreciate that much more how "team friendly" Rondo's deal really has been.  You can bet he'll be getting the max next time around.

The bar has practically been set for good PGs not drafted #1 at around $8-$13 mil while PGs like Rose/Wall/Irving are going to get the max.

Not quite sure what your point is here.  Are you saying Wall didn't deserve his contract, or Rondo isn't underpaid?

Yup Wall is not a max type player; Rondo is a far better player than Wall will ever be.

The Wizards aren't a lock to make the playoffs.  It will be interesting to see how perception of Wall changes if the team fails to make the playoffs without having injuries to blame.

Wall better lead them to at least ECF in the next 3 years for that money. Otherwise he'll be labeled as a bad contract.

I definitely see Rondo asking forr a max contract now

I really think this is too much for Wall. He is a poor man's Russell Westbrook who is a not-so-poor-man's Derrick Rose. He really hasn't done anything. Baffling.

It's a good deal.

Wall is still very young and if he can stay healthy has shown the ability to be a mix of Rondo and Derrick Rose.

It wouldn't shock me if Wall leads the Wizards to the playoffs this season while averaging 18+ pts, 8+ ast, 4+ reb and 1.5+ stls.

Barring any major injuries he'll be a threat to do that every year for a while.

Career averages:

17 pts 8 ast 4.4 reb 1.5 stl 17.7 PER

Coming off a season in which he posted:

18.5 pts 7.6 ast 4 reb 1.3 stl .8 blks 20.8 PER

Oh, and he's 22 years old.

This is a great deal and might even be a steal; the Wizards' record with/without Wall is ridiculous.

He's just a winner.

Neither just that #1 draft pick PGs will always get the max.

LOL let me put this in simpler terms if Wizards GM would offer Ainge, Wall for Rondo, Ainge would accept it in a heartbeat.
