Since moving to Australia almost 4 years ago, I've not picked up much of an Aussie accent either. I blame this mainly because the people I speak to the most (my colleagues) are not from Australia.

Danny, Doc, KG, Rondo, Ray, etc. Those were Paul's colleagues. I sincerely doubt they picked up much of an accent there!
