I ran this through the trade machine the other day Sessions has 1 year left at 5 mil Lee is 3 years at 5.25 I believe. I think the Celtics should do it mainly to clear future salary and slightly lower their cap this year, I don't believe it is enough to get us under the luxury tax but it gets us closer. Also it would be nice to have another PG on the roster.
I glanced at the Keep him or Trade him on Lee and it seems like a lot of you think he should stay but I think whats the point? we are not going to be a legit contender during the course of his contract so why do we need a "glue guy" type. I do like Lee but I don't know if he fits with what the C's are trying to accomplish in the next year or 2.
Do you think Charlotte would go for this? Is this a fair deal?
