Based on a 7/24/12 tweet from Givony at Draft Express, Vitor can really score and is a really good offensive rebounder.

Now I know we all love Sully but I wonder how Vitor and Kelly would look together.  Individual defense would not look good, but they could punish opponents on the offensive side.

Kelly outside and Vitor inside...sounds like an entertaining combo!

I think our offense will be much better.

He was mainly picked up for potential and able to put it together. The way sully plays prob over his dead body he lets fav beat him for a starting spot.

Well it's not an either/or proposition.
Vitor has a lot to prove though.
Don't pencil him in at the 5 just yet.

How our new coach juggles the minutes for our players will be interesting.  Also don't forget that Humphries and Bass will be in the mix at the 4/5 as well.

For them--or their opponents?

I'm setting my expectations for Vitor around Ronny Turiaf level.  So yeah, he can probably score a bit, maybe has an okay 10 foot set shot, gets some offensive rebounds, and occasionally makes a nice play.  A nice energy / hustle big you ideally want to play 10-15 minutes.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
