With everything that's gone on this short amount of time this summer,it can kinda put a damper on how you're feeling about the team. What are some things you're looking forward to?

For me, I have plenty:

1.)Seeing Brad coach his first NBA game
2.)Seeing how our rookie,Kelly, is against other NBA players

3)Seeing who's actually on the team (probably should be    #1)

4.)Seeing Rondo return
5.)Seeing our KG/PP return to TD [super emotional night]
6.)Will we see a Gino Time this season (probably not..lol)

1. (Fantasy) Blowing out the cHeat in one home game and watching Rondo, Green and Sully rocking to Gino. (that would signify the torch being officially passed.)

2. Watching Rondo, Green, Sully, Danny and Wyc sitting behind the Nets bench cheering the Nets on as they beat Judas and his crew in the ECF.

3. Same scenario as #2, but in the NBA Finals, beating Doc and the Clips.

I can dream, can't I. But how cool would those things be?

seeing new dynamics with a new head coach .......I like a coach like  Vogel who will put anybody and everybody on the floor to win.

seeing a fully healthy Green and  AB on the court

Sully and Rondo getting well and returning

Dumping Wallace and Kradashian ASAP   for assets .....or happy meals

Curious to see Kelly O.   tangle with the big boys .

Actually .... I'm predicting that Pressey kid makes a strong showing as a a rookie ,   I believe Stevens can mold him into something special with help of Rondo.

This is the rebuilding of the Celtics ,  might be ugly for a few years , but I'm in for the long haul......
as always......

Really looking forward to watching the Big KO & Sullinger.  Love to root for hard workers and I think they both fit the part & compliment each other to a tee.

I also want to watch Gerald Wallace play with Rondo.  He's been down and out on a ball hog NJ team & I think similar to KO & Sully, both Rondo & Wallace compliment each other.  We know he'll bring his steady defense, & with Rondo & no dominant ball hog, I think he gives us 18ppg with 7 rebounds, shooting 45% from the field and 37% from downtown.  He'll be back to All Star form.

1) Ainge -- What his approach going to be with this roster. Is he waiting until after the grace period of the Net trade to do something else?

2) Rondo -- To see if he can recapture that Tier Two Superstar status after a major injury. When does he come back? To see how he plays without at least one HOFer for the 1st time in his career.

3) Brad Stevens -- To see his coaching style up close and personal. What kind of rotations he's going to put out there, especially if we retain the current 2,3,4 logjam roster.

4) The youth -- The intrigue of potential is always there.

I am looking forward to Rajon Ronjo and Avery Bradley playing together while healthy.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Watching a Rondo-Bradley-Green-Sullinger-Olynyk lineup.

Could be a very good offensive lineup.

Also, Brad Stevens.  How will he connect with the players?

I totally forgot about Sully coming back..definitely want to see him and Kelly.

I forgot of Green too, technically isn't he our #1 go to guy on offense right now? I wonder how he'll thrive in that role.

I think two things:

1) What will Danny actually do? Is he going to tank?  Is he looking to compete?  Is he going to try to flip assets quickly to contend again?  Truth be told, it will probably take at least until next summer to figure most of that out, but it should be interesting.

2) How good are our vets?  I'm particularly interested in Rondo, Green, and Bradley.  The debate about Rondo being a truly elite player can potentially be answered this season.  Similarly, we should be able to answer questions about how good Jeff Green really is and whether Bradley is able to take it to the next level.

I guess a third can be about our youth with players like Sully, Olynyk, even Melo.  But it is possible that if we do end up being pretty bad, they might statistically put up good numbers even if they aren't all that good.

Detailed stint analysis on the play by play tapes. How Kieth Bogans will become the silent leader of the team and help out the plethora of SGs. For now, I am looking for Danny to make more roster transactions as the Celtics look to cut costs.

Rondo, Rondo, Rondo!!!
Avery, Avery, Avery!!!
Jeff, Jeff, Jeff!!!
Sully, Sully, Sully!!!
Kelly, Kelly, Kelly!!!

Is Fab Melo capable of helping us?

What role will Jay Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Courtney Lee, and Brandon Bass have?

What new ideas will Coach Stevens bring to the table?

There is lots to be learned and the fans looking for quick gratification can go follow Paul Pierce and KG on the Nets or go root against the Heat or watch the Lakers lose night after night.
The beatings will continue until morale improves
