Is this kid even near as good as everyone makes him out to be? I'm starting to be sick of him and I've never even seen him before.

He's pretty sick honestly, Not Lebron level but he could be a star like Durant.

Someone could make a similar highlightreel about Tayshaun Prince“s NBA-career. Highschool-dunks mean nothing.

That's nice and all but I don't give two stinks about dunks. I'll need him to play some college ball at a really high level before I start drooling all over him.

Not that we're getting him in the first place.

I love it how people fall in love with these super athletic dunkers. Go check AARON HARRISON, his highlight tapes from HS are the most NBA ready I've seen from most prospects. He can shoot the lights out, i mean every single shot is wet no matter the difficulty. He creates shots off contact and is one of the better finishers in the draft. His range is automatic from anywhere on the floor. Also hes a clutch performer. His team down he scored 45 points and 35 he scored straight to bring his team from being doen to eventually winning thr game, all along his twin brother is on the team and also a top 10 prospect. His court vision and passing ability dwarfs many guards and forwards in this draft.

Enough with the high flying dunkers Wiggins, Gordon and Randle. Id rather a guy who can hit from anywhere on the floor, NBA range and the ability to create for themselves and teammates. Ie. Parker, Dante Exum and the Harrison twins.

If the Lakers don't make the playoffs, expect them to win the lottery. I don't care if they finish 14th in the league, they will win it. The lottery loves big market teams and teams that lose important players. The Lakers will be both next year. They win.

Side question: Who was the best NBA prospect you've ever seen coming out of high school?

Doesn't matter if they ended up going to college or not, and their collegiate and pro careers are irrelevant; the question is about the best high school prospect you've seen.

For me, It's LeBron. Anyone feel differently?

Problem is, until just a few years ago you just never got to see the best high school players. You tube, nationally televised high school all-star games, and the allowing of 18 and 19 year olds to be drafted by the NBA changed all that. So its really hard to pick anyone but Lebron given what was available to see.

Magic Johnson might be the best ever though given what he did right out of high school his first two years(NCAA Championship and NBA Championship).

Depends on your region, I'd think. As someone from New England, I remember hearing about Michael Beasley while he was playing high school ball. Camby and Ewing were before my time, but I've heard second hand evidence of their high school awesomeness too.

I would imagine there'd be a bunch of New Yorkers who would have interesting stories to tell on this front, although they're probably not lurking CB.  ;D

There was a sports illustrated article about this exact same thing. And then the game after the crowd was chanting over rated to Wiggans.

He came out and dropped 57 on 24/28 shooting....

Lol, exactly. Wiggins coming out and saying he hopes to be drafted by the Raptors is like me saying I hope I meet a hot chick tonight.

But how many were those dunks and layups?

So far every clip I've seen has him mostly dunking or laying it up. But rarely shooting.

I bet Gerald Green's Highschool high lights look just about the same.

Now Im not saying he's going to suck. But I'd like to see some college play were the players are bigger faster, better, and play D and force jump shots.

If he has a good one, then this guy is money. But I'd rather take a guy with some shooting ability over athletics any day of the week.
