That is certainly an interesting take on the Spurs. I don't think they'll plummet that much, but they are pretty old. On the other hand, all the other teams have vastly improved. It could really go either way.

Realistically, I might actually see this happening; the Spurs might win around 50 games but still be the 6th seed. It would be really skewered, though. Especially because a lot of teams are going to tank for the draft.

Hahah, oh wow I thought I would receive some kind of immediate criticisms on my predictions xD. But thank you for your interesting take syfy9!

I rank the Spurs down to the 6th seed because they're one year older than before and other young teams in the West are making a rise. Ginobili may have lost a step or two. OKC IS an elite team, but Westbrook is still rehabbing and they lost Kevin Martin so thus I rank them in the 4th seed.

Houston, Clippers, and Warriors, to me, will become the "elite teams" in the west in the 2013-2014 season due to their major offseason moves this summer. At least on paper, they'll dominate. We won't know how they will all pan out at the end of the season. But something interesting to think of imo.

The East, well, you know the story already hahah. The last three teams are up in the air.

Not a fan of Denver? They only lost 3 games at home last season.

Portland is a great dark horse, though. Damian Lillard has a lot of potential and they got a lot deeper with the Wright and Robinson signings. Then again, Hickson left to go to the Nuggets, didn't he?

Either way, TP for the New Orleans pick. The Pelican juice is going to taste mighty fine! I'm gonna love watching them next season.  :)

It was kind of hard to leave Denver off, but I do like Portland.  I believe they've signed Robin Lopez for front court help, and I think Meyers Leonard is going to be ready to give them major minutes.

Lillard, Batum, and Aldridge are a really exciting young "big three."

The Pelicans are a wild card.  Holiday and Evans are a lot of talent in the backcourt.   I think Austin will improve.  They could run some cool three guard lineups with Holiday, Rivers, and Evans.

The unibrow could start to break out.  They've got some issues at center with Greg Stiemsma and Jeff Withey fighting it out for that spot, but as someone mentioned before, Davis can play some center.

None of those teams are perfect.  That's why I think Portland, New Orleans, and Denver will be fighting it out for that last playoff spot.

Bulls
Heat
Nets
Pacers
Knicks
Cavaliers
Wizards
Pistons

I believe Drose will be 100% for the start of the new season and Bulls wil lreturn to their dominant form like in 2010-2011 season. Heat and Nets will be fighting for second.

West

Spurs
warriors
OKC
Rockets
Grizzlies
Clippers
Nuggets
Timberwolves

Westbrook coming off injury, rockets needs to build chemistry, clippers will continue to be a first/second round exit of playoffs, iggy was a big loss for nuggets.
