Take that pro-tankers.

This team is going to win more games than some people think/want.

I think that list underrates New Orleans and Washington.  Perhaps Cleveland as well, depending on whether Bynum gets healthy.

Aside from that, I agree with it that this roster doesn't suck as badly as some here hope.  If this is tanking, then it's a very poor, incomplete attempt at it.

Does Vegas allow you to "short sell" teams? i would short sell Dallas, the Lakers and Denver.

In general if you are betting on anyone lower than the Grizz you are absolutely through your money away.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Gambling odds are based on where they think bets will come in not what they actually think will happen.  Sometimes they are the same, but often they are not.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

By those odds, Celtics are the #7 seed in the East.

It doesn't mean they expect the Celtics to win more than the other teams.  It could mean that they see more variance in the Celtics outcome.

For example, someone could predict that the Cavs are likely to do no better than a first-round exit and will probably be better than the Celtics, but think that the Celtics have a higher upside if everything goes right (plus have a better GM who can add the missing piece at the trade deadline if they are close), so have a better shot at winning a title even if they are overall a worse team on paper.

Imagine if you put down $20 on the Celtics and then Danny Ainge surprises us all by using those draft picks and the young players on the roster to do what we thought was impossible and trade for...let's say Kevin Love and Larry Sanders.

If the Bucks don't bring back Jennings I think they could be worse than us and I will believe the Kings are a functional organization when I see it with my own eyes and not before then.

Vegas don't know squat

look we got Fab Melo and totally untested  coach and hurt Rondo,   lots of kids and guys knowing they are throw always in the long run........ oh it's really looking great

we got this !

we are in the last six worst teams no doubt.,     worse if Rondo will stay off the court.

The scenario where the Bucks, battered by their experience with Brandon Jennings, decide to shop Larry Sanders for whatever they can get so they don't have to deal with him being a restricted free agent is one of my favorite realistic scenarios for the how the Celtics can become contenders sooner than some people believe.

I think if we could trade for Larry Sanders (Brooklyn's 1st plus a future first and a trade exception), draft one of the elite players (Parker, Wiggins, Gordon, Smart, Randle, Harrison) then add them to the players we already have we would be one of the best young teams in the league.

This is also my dream scenario.
