I don't look at it that way at all. I look at it like the death of a family member who was ill but in their 90's. They had a good life. They are better off now and happier. Sure we are saddened that they aren't here with us any longer, but should be able to look at their lives and appreciate all they joy they brought to us. Look at those photos and realize we had a great run there and were able to see a special player do amazing things and hung a banner. He will always be a part of the family, but the run was over and we are both better off. Maybe he will have a legit shot with KG there in Brooklyn and we can be happy for him.
