Word in Boston, according to Charley Walters, is that the Celtics' Ray Allen was taken aback after Brian Scalabrine dropped a dime in Allen's favorite bathroom stall during a practice that lead to The TD Banknorth Garden having to be fumigated. Reportedly, Scalabrine, who is Danny Ainge's all time favorite NBA Player, has a strict pregame ritual that consists of taking a dump, not flushing it, and then smoking 2 packs of Marlboro soft packs.
Scalabrine claims the ritual is for good luck and works about 97% of the time. "Like, it didn't work yesterday because I actually had to play in a game," said Scalabrine.
Those close to the situation say that Ray Allen, who was recently traded to The Celtics from Seattle, made Scalabrine personally clean the toilet bowl. The stall is now reserved with a $500,000 high-tech security system that only recognizes Ray Allen's retina scan, paid for by Celtics owner Wycliffe "Jean" Grousbeck.
