I'm still trying to understand why Danny repeatedly and insistently introduced KO to Boston as not a 'go-to' guy.

I truly feel it was sarcasm. I think he knows what hes got in KO but wasn't gonna blast his confidence for him.

What I like most about that clip, Olynyk is telling everyone else where to go on offense.  Coach's son.

KO did not seem one bit phased in SL play.  As I was watching him do his mid range pop's I was like wow, this is our new KG!  And he;s a great team guy which is what I think is gonna help him fit well on the team.

Thanks for for the vid.  Love watching KO play. I can't help but feeling that we stole the draft. As Kendall Gil  says "why wasn't this guy a top 5 pick?" When was the last time you saw a 7 footer with that kind of ball handling.

Dirk Nowitzki was also unathletic and bad at defense. Hasn't hurt his career much.

Obviously I am under no delusions that KO is going to be a Hall of Famer like Dirk, but I really do see him being a poor man's Nowitzki. Great versatile scorer, decent rebounder, mediocre defender.

I keep reading that KO is a great offensive player because his father is a coach. Just curious, but did his father not teach defense?

A young Dirk Nowtizki dropped 50 on Barkley, Jordan and Pippen too.

I don't see Olynyk doing that, but I agree he is a Poor Mans Dirk Nowitzki, and I'm 100% fine with that.

Love this kid!

dont blame the dad's teaching. blame his dna.  :)

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I should clarify, at least offensively.   He has a ton of range for a big.  Can get to the lane or shoot outside.  I'd say he's most comparable in that regard to kg then anyone else we have on The roster.
