Wonder if the American Nick Young is getting the same "under the table payment" from the American owner of the Lakers.

Did Nick Young also pass on a 10 million deal and had many teams wanting him? ...

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

I'm for anyone knocking off the Heat even if it takes Prokhorov skirting NBA rules.

Kirilenko signs a mini mid, then visits owners mansion and comes out the house with a black brief case.

No way ak takes 3.1 million a year. Owner def gave him something on the side. Prob under his couch had 5 million lying around

I don't know Nick Youngs situation past the fact that he isn't worth anywhere near what AK is.

But I will say, tracking money and accounts in the USA is difficult for the NBA.  Tracking rubles in Russia is impossible.

Yup very similar situation, wanted a long term deal and didn't get it. Now he's got a modest contract with a player option.

Give them a small ball lineup to play with the Heat for some minutes and another defensive forward.

Yeah huge signing for them, Spurs have to be p---ed as I bet they were offering more money and easily would have gone for MLE or at least more than mini-mle.

Also I bet AK-47 has a gold house waiting for him in Russia.

TP for both you guys.

Curiously enough, there are players who will take less money to play for contending teams. No need for a conspiracy.

Brooklyn is stacked and versatile.  They already had the size to play big with anyone; now with Kirilenko, they can go small seamlessly.  Kirilenko might be the choice over Lopez to close out games too.  The basketall IQ they can throw out on the court with Deron, Johnson, Pierce, Kirilenko and KG is astounding.  Those are five plus passers out there and four of them can really shoot while Kirilenko is fantastic moving off the ball.

This makes me really wiEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.l because I always wanted to see Kirilenko paired with KG in the front court.  They would have been a tremendously agile and intelligent defensive pairing.  Oh well.

Brooklyn loading up for a title run.

Looks like my very first prediction, days after the trade, that they will be in the ECF at minimum is looking stronger by the day.

I'd say they will quickly be co-favorites with Miami.  Expect Brooklyn to start strong.
