Just wondering. The more I watch Wallace, the more I want to keep him. But Kris and the others can go. You guys think we can get anything for him?

A bad player on a big, non-expiring contract.

I think we'd have to give up too much to get rid of Wallace right now.

Humphries and Bass, however, we could probably find takers for without having to pay too heavy a price.

I'd be surprised if they kept both Brooks and Crawford, too--one probably goes.

I'm hoping Lee stays.

First order of business is to move Humphries and two of Crawford/Brooks/Bogans and take back no players in return.  Just the trade exception for Humphries would be more than enough.

What about to Minnesota (where he is from) for a second founder? They need a backup pf, and he can rebound and catch passes from Rubio. They're under the cap iirc, so it could work.

1yr 12mm for Humphries is a great piece. I'd like to see them play him some minutes and re-build his value (he was awful last year, but very good the previous 2 years). He's 28 and averaged 14 and 11 the previous year. If they can get him back up to that level of player over the first few months, he'd be a valuable piece to deal to someone. Expirings always have a lot of value. Don't throw him away for a 2nd rounder quite yet.

Sending him to a team under the cap for a second rounder? Sounds bizarre, and is probably a waste of resources. Wait until the trade deadline, and package him with a young player on a reasonable contract and some picks to try to land a high-profile guy on a suboptimal contract.

im hoping there is a high paid player that wants out (maybe an eric gordon) and we use humpries expiring contact to help match salaries in a trade

Proven rebounder who averaged a double double just 2 years ago.
Large expiring deal.
Sounds like a  valuable asset.
Someone is going to over pay for him at the deadline.

Yea I saw that too. Most people think he knows jack %&$#, but it seems logical.
