Tomorrows the day the nets deal is finalized. Does Danny already have side deals lined up a
 to move some pieces.

I really hope we are serious about trying to sign oden. If we're going to take a flyer on a low cost high risk/ reward player this is the year to do it.

Oly single handedly got me excited about the upcoming season.

Feels like old times around the blog. All 2003 round here again.

Lee is going to have a good season mmw

Hope we play well enough to push the 8th seed but end up in lotto.
Line up
Rondo, pressey
Bradley, Lee, brooks
Green, Wallace
Oly, bass
Sully, humpty.

Delt or let go: Bradley, humpty, bass, Wallace ( I hope) ,

Know what my random mid day thoughts are?  Someday after tomorrow, a lot of people will have a new Celtic's name next to their own.

Something like this now, I think, what will it look like once updated?  The suspense is killing me  :D

1000   Paul Pierce
750   Kevin Garnett
500   Rajon Rondo
300   Brandon Bass
200   Courtney Lee
150   Doc Rivers
100   Jeff Green
75   Jason Terry
50   Avery Bradley
25   Chris Wilcox
20   Leandro Barbosa
15   Jared Sullinger
10   Fab Melo
5   Jason Collins
1   Kris Joseph

Melo's the only returning guy that needs to move down on that list I think  :P

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Ahhh, the good ol' bad days of lore.

Random Sunday thoughts
To many centers in Houston?
I can't figure out why they would not be interested in trading asiks long contract for hump and a low 1st rounder.
A banger, hi energy PF who would provide muscle, rebounds and slop offense when Howard sits. ( that description of humps game could be applied to Howard as well)
They get a useful piece and a $12 mill expiring.

Are there any other viable young bigs who could be major building blocks and make not tanking worth it? A few come to mind, LMA and Larry Sanders are a few who could be available. We don't have anything either team would want though.
I think both sanders and LMA's contracts expire in 2015. We have cap room by then?

I don't think they are inclined to give up Asik unless they will end up with an above-average back-up who will be a solid starter at center should Dwight Howard have to miss any games due to injury.

I would think that Houston would want the added flexibility that humps expiring would give them.
Would provide competent back up and a little more room to sign a complimentary player next off season.  Add a late 1st in a deep draft ...
