Not a bad contract overall.  I suspect the Hawks would match that, but I guess you never know.

They'll match, but I think they want to do a sign and trade for Monta from what I've heard, or even Jennings.

We'll see what they do.

Not bad? That's an absolute steal. Based on his age and performance last season, I'm surprised he didn't command an eight-digit salary per year.

I do agree.  I thought he would get 10 million a year, but given where the current state of free agency is, only the Hawks were going to be able to give him that and they apparently weren't going to.

True. I do think he is fully capable of starting for someone -- reminds me a bit of a young Tony Parker.

He averaged 14 points and 7 assists. How is $32mill an absolute steal?

$8 million per year sounds about right for Teague.

There are only 10 other players who averaged 14+ ppg and 7+ apg last season, and one of them is LeBron James. Given that he did that on a very good Atlanta team in only 33 minutes per game, I can easily see how he's worth 10 million to someone who plans to start him and give him ~38 mpg.

Love Teague, I'm surprised somebody hasn't made an offer for him already.

Really confused as to what the hell the Bucks are doing though. They basically hand away Redick and Mbah a Moute, but then they turn around and pick up OJ Mayo on a 3 year deal and sign Teague to an offer sheet.

After the first two moves I assumed they were torpedoing for the bottom, but after the last two moves I don't think they have a clue what direction they are heading in.

I thought Houston should have made a move for him to complete their squad.

Underrated player, tough player to guard.

I'm interested to see how the PG market develops considering the depth at the position.

Seems about right for Teague, a potential to be a steal if you look at how many pgs are making 10 million +. No idea what Milwaukee is doing.

I don't like Teague/Mayo pairing if it happens.

Of course that could just be because I don't like Mayo much, but I really don't like the combo of the two.

I like it more than Jennings/Ellis though.

True its  more of a dumpster fire instead of a full on carfire.

Much more contained damage to your team.
