Melo went to front office and Requested Trade For Rondo

I think Melo started thinking about opting out and becoming a Laker after next season.

I think it proves that Carmelo sees Rondo as a good basketball player who could really help the Knicks out.

I also think that Rondo and 'Melo would play together pretty well, especially with him at PF. A Rondo/'Melo 1-4 pick and roll would be fun to watch.

New York doesn't have anything we want, though.

FWIW, I don't see Carmelo leaving NY.

If Melo meets DA, everything is possible...Remember DA gifted PP and KG to Prokorov. DA is a nice manager, trying always to help "visitors'

I say melo would be Highly Embraced in Boston if he really wants to play with the Rondo )))). Also this just goes to show any Rondo doubter out there, he is a great PG, stop trying to trade him. Players do want to play with him.

Just proves Rondo has a ton of value, of course players/teams want him. Knicks fans are fooling themselves if they think they have the pieces to get him, or if Ainge will just take their scraps for a top PG in the league in his prime because ping pong balls.
