I wonder if Danny has received any calls regarding Lee, Bass, Wallace? Danny' doesn't have much of a history of just dumping player salaries. I wonder if he is holding out to get more of a return than expiring contracts?

I think there's about as much interest around the league in Gerald Wallace as there would be in a load of toxic, radioactive industrial waste.

Bass could be a fit on the right team, but I think we'll have to wait until later in the summer when teams that struck out on the good free agents are looking for ways to add to their supporting cast.

Same with Lee, though I think he has more trade value than Bass, so there's a better chance of finding something there.

I believe the Grizzlies still have a $5 million trade exception, and they could probably use either Lee or Bass.  There may be something there.

Wallace, I doubt, although I think he could regain value quickly, and could be a commodity by the trade deadline (if the C's play uptempo, it could revive his career a bit).

Lee and Bass?  I would be shocked if teams aren't interested.

Lee compares favorably with some of the wings who have been getting big contracts this summer, and really should be interesting teams who need a SG (and there is a dearth of quality SGs in the league).

And Bass also should be getting a lot of interest from contenders.  Bass is a bit more overpaid than Lee, but not so much that someone wouldn't take him on, perhaps just enough that you wouldn't get any real value for him, other than an expiring contract.

I really think Danny is probably working a lot of different scenarios with all these guys (as well as Humphries, Crawford, and Brooks), and once the Nets trade is finalized, I would expect the next shoe to drop pretty quickly.

I'd look at the Mavs as a team that could consider taking on either Lee or Bass now that they've struck out on getting major free agents and need to fill out their rotation with decent players.

Atlanta is another team that I think still probably has some cap space.  They might have a use for either of them.

I doubt either of the 3 get moved until the trade deadline. Keeping Bass and Wallace gives players like Green, Sully and Olynyk time to adjust to larger roles and more minutes. IMO i say we keep Lee, he's a viable 2 guard who can play good defense and has the ability to surge for quick points off the bench

I think this is a pretty spot-on assessment.

I think Danny can get something for Bass and Lee from a team looking for a solid vet to fill out their bench.  Humphries too for that matter.  He has the extra bonus of being an expiring contract too.

Wallace would probably be difficult to move unless we're taking in another player with a bad contract that another team just wants to move.   Ben Gordon would fit that situation.  Wallace would help the Bobcats more than Gordon and Gordon would fit here better than Wallace.

Bogans can hopefully be moved at the deadline as a potential expiring deal for a pick.

One of Brooks/Crawford can probably be moved for a second rounder at the trading deadline since they're young and coming off their first contracts.

Corey Brewer just got 3 years/$15 million?  Yeah, there has to be a market for Lee.

I wouldn't be shocked if teams (rightly or wrongly) value Corey Brewer more than Courtney Lee.

The teams that would most want a player like Lee or Bass are probably the teams with the weakest assets.

I'd like to hold onto Lee and see how he does in a new system, unless he doesn't like playing with Rondo. I think he's a much better player then he showed last year, And right now is our best over all SG. Yes better than AB over all. Still not comfortable with AB with his inconsistency and injuries.

Crawford should be odd man out in the guards, can't stand watching him dribble down the court. My 3 year old daughter dribbles better then he does.

Bass, we know what he does, and he's not going to be any better, and I'd rather let the Sully and KO develop this year.

Bass could be great on a team that needs a good back up PF or even starting PF.

OCK and Huston would be good fits.

All though I'd be cool sending Bass, and Wallace and filler to LA for Gasol. They wouldn't do it, but would love to have him work with Sully and KO. I think right now thats what Im going to miss KG the most is working with KO this year. Maybe he'll come back in two years...:(

There's no way the Lakers take on salary for next year.  They want as much caproom as possible, in case LeBron and a friend wants to conspire their way to LA.

The two teams that lose out on the Bynum sweepstakes might be in the market for a vet or two.
