Postponed to the 12th because of Kris Joseph I believe.

that is my recollection as well, but most of the other free agent moves should become official.

Can someone remind on the rules of trading players that just got traded?

Meaning when can we trade some of the players we get from the Nets?

I believe, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, they can be traded immediately by themselves but can't be part of a package deal for some time.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

The very basic version:

They can be traded by themselves immediately.

They can't be traded in combination with other Celtics players (whether involved in the trade or not) for two months.  However, if a multi-player trade works under the CBA rules without aggregating salaries, it can still go through.  (i.e., Celtics can't trade Humphries + Wallace for Player A + Player B on the Heat.  However, if Humphries for Player A + Wallace for Player B works under the rules, then the trade can still go through.)

Based on the way the PR has been going over the last 2 weeks, I think it is a done deal.  The C's organization has started moving on.  It has all been about Rondo and the kids.

Not to mention, if the deal was agreed to, and Danny backed out, no one would ever deal with him again.  Danny is smarter than that.

I think eugen is hoping that KG invokes his no-trade clause.  But yeah, it's a done deal.

The way I understand it if the players were being swapped in separate deals then the ones traded in deals not involving Kris Joseph would have become official, however they are all being moved in one deal and because of a technicality re: Josephs contract with the Nets, he cannot be traded before 12th July.

With how stealth the C's were in hiring Brad Stevens, I wouldn't be shocked if they had already worked out deals to reroute some of the nets players to other teams as part of the KG/Pierce deal.

I really hope so. I have a feeling Gerald Wallace is going back to the Bobcats and we are getting Ben Gordon's expiring instead.

If so, it's apparently Christmas and no one bothered to tell me.

Wasn't that like the anti-christ of the Sterling negotiations? That was like Danny getting his Mojo back ;D
I'm only kinda joking btw. That debacle had to hurt Danny's image and pride. I would not be surprised if ones uber stealth that blew everbody's mind wasn't exactly the desired side effect.
