The more I watch Kevin Olynyk play, the more I think he's going to be the white Wilt Russell.  Kid's a future stah.

Kevin Olynyk for MVP

He looks like a combination of Kevin Garnett and Kelly Olynyk. Is he related to either of them?  ;D
It appears that he was somehow born with Kevin Pitsnogle's tats.  This cloning stuff is crazy.

No. He is going to be good. What great pf defender can stop his shooting or post game/fakes? He prob wont score as easy in the nba, but what i seen so far is , even the best pf defender one on one will have problems with his inside outside versatility

KG would eat him alive on both ends of the floor.  Probably leave him crying on the bench like Big Baby Davis
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I'm very happy that opinion has changed so quickly. I was touting Olynyk before the draft and met with much opposition, now people watch him in summer league and he is going to be an all star. Everyone needs to take a deep breath, he looks like a solid player that will develop, but I can already smell the Olynyk bashing that will occur when he plays poorly to start the year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Kelly Olynyk is another Raef LaFrentz type. If he shows muscle and grit and develops a rebounding and defensive game he would be a poor man's Dave Cowens - which would not be bad at all.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Raef LaFrentz was a very good rebounder and shot-blocker.

Can we just wait what he does on the regular games and how he match up with other big defenders ZBO, Gasol, KG, etc...
Amateurs worry about equipment, professionals worry about money, masters worry about light… I just take pictures…

That's not the way we do things here at Celticsblog. Conclusive judgement on his entire career must be rendered NOW.

Harangody had little to no chance in the nba. Little athleticism, quickness and only 6'6 pf/sf

Olynyk again is a legit 7ft with skills stretch pf

Yeah.

If Harangody were 6'10'' he'd be Troy Murphy.
