I truly wonder what was offered but i am more than happy to read this article. Rondo is IMO the best PG in the league. We need to keep him in order to build for our future. Come on DA you better lock him up to a long term contract when the time comes. Question is will it be a max contract?

Our young lineup has so much upside, so much potential. Rondo is the PERFECT player to maximize their talent. Sully and KO will be most benefited by RRs style of play

danny is smart and loves rondo. the rondo contract extension was one of his greatest and understated moves.

Rondo is a great player but it is not the best pg in the league.

Overall,  i surely think so. Best rebounding PG by far, no PG in the league gets to the basket more often with success (except maybe Westbrook and TP). He accumulates more assists than most if not every PG in the league. He was 3rd sometimes 4th fiddle on his team, not due to his game play but his age and being surrounded by vets. He still outshined hus teammates. I would take Rondo, the prototypical PG, over ANY pg in the league

I understand what rondo can do but you said it your self he was at times the third or 4th fiddle on his team. Name one other top pg who you could say that about. He does posses attributes that no other pg in the league has but also lacks some as well; ability to consistently shoot the ball, only shows up for big games, leadership concerns. Also his assists will more than likely take a bit of a dip with out a group of established vets around him to consistently knock down jumpers

All in all rondo is a great player and does certain things as well or better than anyone in the league. He's unquestionably a top talent in the league but to say he's unequivocally the best pg in the leauge is injustice to alot of great PGs in the NBA.

Just put 4 other guys on the floor with him and you have a chance to win every game.  He's the connect four master.
