I really don't see how it could happen with Houston.  Neither Lin nor Asik is really a guy you'd target in a Rondo trade, and their 1st round picks are going to be very low in the first round over the next 5+ years (at least).

As for Charlotte, if they offer MKG and Biyombo or perhaps Kemba, Plumlee, and a 1st, while taking on Lee or Bass.  That could be worth considering.

Otherwise, meh.


BTW, Simmons is no Wojo but he's not a TERRIBLE source.  He has to maintain some amount of credibility with these things, being such a high profile guy.  He wouldn't post it unless he'd heard something of at least minimal substance from a guy who is connected.  Simmons definitely has contacts, though I don't doubt that he would be happy to post anything, no matter how tenuous or unrealistic it is.

The fact that this "Blll" Simmons had only 12 followers should have been a clue that the tweet was bogus.
