I just think Parker with his already NBA ready body, playing the wing. He's the 2nd coming of The Truth. Only problem with drafting either Wiggins or Parker, what does that say for Jeff Green?

Depends on Wiggin's or Parker's NBA shooting ability. If they can shoot well enough to help spread the floor you could conceivably play one of them at SG and Green at SF and have a tall lineup.

Aaron Gordon has this cockyness, and swagger about him on the court. He instantly thinks he belongs out on the court with whoever is out there. He might be the most successfull right away because of that fact.

I do like Gordons intensity and swagger. Its his shooting ability that worries me. But dang there's like 5 guys in this draft who can really change a franchise.

Rex chapman meets ginobelli.

I think Wiggins has a better shot at playing the SG. Quicker body. You can play him there until he gets a little stronger, and then see how its playing out at the end of Greens contract. If its working well, sign Green and contend. If Wiggins is out shining Green and needs to be moved to the SF, S&T Green for needs.

My second is Gordon. The OP says 6'7", but Draft express says 6'9" PF. Which works out for Green, but what about Sully and KO? But he kinda reminds me of Chris Webber. I really like that.

Shelby is nice to. Would be good to have a good SG, and unlike Wiggins the video showed him shooting more.

2015 draft is looking like a heavy Center draft so I wouldn't jump on one unless you couldn't pass it up.

But its kinda looking like if we can get into the top 8 there should be a very good player available.

Also, I've seen Marcus Smart on many boards, should he be in the mix here somewhere?

Wow!! Those future NBA players sure do look dominant playing against kids who look like me when I was in high school.

That's all we've really got. It's good enough for the NBA scouts and experts so its fun to have a little hope that a few of them might become a star and land on our team.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Right. A ton of guys look great against this sort of competition, but the smartest talent evaluators in the world are saying that these kids are special.

I remember when Lebron was 16 and the scouts - and NBA players he was scrimmaging with periodically - were labeling him as possibly one of the greatest players ever.

I was skeptical too, I wondered how they could be so convinced at such an early age. Yet, they turned out to be right.

Wiggins is the only other player I can remember in the "modern age" getting such high praise.

Nothing is a sure thing, of course, some of these guys will turn out very differently than currently projected.

But it's pretty safe to say that these opinions are pretty well-informed, and based on a lot more than some YouTube videos.

You can't just dismiss them so lightly.

Wiggins and lebron are two different calibre players. Wiggins is a sf with elite quickness/athleticism married with skills. But he wont be good unless he develops a consistent j.

Lebron is a pg with a beast body. His vision + skills . Is on another level.

Wiggings potential is more paul george. He could be a cream of the crop sf like wade is a cream of the crop sg. But lebron is like a 4 position player. This means u can build around lebron, not likely around wiggins. He still needs help

See I feel that Jabari is a 4 position player even more like Lebron than Pierce. Pierce is a 1 through 3 and Jabari can play 1 through 4.
The complete package. Just uses finesse and strength and touch/agility rather than brute strength/force and finishing ability.

Parker's the real coup of the 2014 draft. You heard it here first.

I just like the competition Jabari played with in HS compared to some other prospects. I agree with the fact he can play 1-4 in positions. Which will fit perfectly with analytic game plans Stevens will employ
