Pretty awkward having yourself filmed right from the start.  I guess most NBA coaches are used to being filmed 100% of the time.  Pressure is going to be high to produce from day 1.

Doc's first day as a Clipper was in 1991.  U hope he doesn't have the same success as a coach there that he had as a player.

oh it's definitely going to be pressure. They talk him up like he's the 2nd coming of the Messiah and walks on water. They're expecting big results so I'm guessing WCF and up or it's a failure in their eyes.

It's almost like they think he has magical powers. He's just the coach, the players still have to play.

HAHAHAHAHAH this will be fun, he sold them a bill of goods. Doc always thinks he is bigger than the team. Mighty arrogant stance for a coach that has only won one championship with a star-studded team with three hall of famers, maybe four.

I have an autographed doc rivers Los Angeles clipper basketball card.  Hopefully he wins lots of titles there and it will be worth a couple dollars

No need to be Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.y, guys.
I wish him the best. As far as I'm concerned,  I don't care if it succeed or not. I'm focusing on Brad now and our youngs and rookies.

I get the impression he wants to coach the game and go home. Not going to be as into the whole process like Doogie Howser, I mean Coach Stevens.

I wish Doc success in delivering the C's a high draft pick in 2015.

Doc is going to do well there, but he won't win anything. He already delivered them CP3, so he's off to a good start.

Doc is going to do well there, but he won't win anything. He already delivered them CP3, so he's off to a good start.

That is kind of how I view it. They basically traded a late 2015 draft pick for the rights to sign Chris Paul to a max contract. I know it wasn't a given that Paul was leaving, but it was starting to look that way.

Expectations of Doc are going to be too high. Clippers fans and media should just be happy that they will remain a major factor for the foreseeable future [with or w/o Doc].
