Kelly Olynyk is the real deal. The thing that will make him be effective at this level is his ability to put the ball on the floor. Nice touch and post moves. Defense is about trying and I think this kid wants to be good.
Iverson impressed me with his understanding of his role. Attacked the boards. Played big on defense. Nice touch from the line as well which will help his stat line. I hope he continues this and stays with us this season.
Melo IMO will always be a bench player. He just isn't that smart out there and is soft attacking the rim. He will have a long career, but I don't see him ever being much than a big body to bring in with his 6 fouls.
Pressey is a ball hog and turns the ball over way too much. 9 turnovers in two games is and indicator. His first objective was clearly to try and get his shot off. Second the same. If he was trapped then he might pass the ball. I don't want him anywhere near this squad.
If Johnson-Odom were 6'5 instead of 6'2 he would have a good NBA career. We have enough PG sized 2's already. Nice overall game though.
