Kind of mad I didn't even get to see KO play...guess I'm divin into the archive in a bit. 13/6/3/1 block/5 steals with only 3 fouls and 1 to...on over 50% shooting. You'll never hear me complain about a game like that.

How many minutes did he play ?  With the blowout, they took him out early in the 4th and he never came back in.

21 minutes. And yeah it was halfway through the third they pulled him. That's when I dropped in. Never got to see those locks swaying in the stale gym air.

Didn't see the whole game, but didn't I see Detroit swarming him with at least double teams?

not really. Tony Mitchell did a pretty decent job on him. Didn't give him much breathing room in the 1st half. Than Olynyk looked like he had enough and took his game inside.

Those up and unders are definitely Mchale and Al Jefferson like.  I really wanted to see him vs Drummond today

forgot , he also got 5 steals and 3 assists.

Tony Mitchell started really playing all over KO on the perimeter. It was clearly bothering him. If he hadn't gotten rattled, I think he he probably could have baited the over-aggressive Mitchell into a few reaching fouls. Pierce would have swung the ball through or taken a couple jab steps and then flailed through the resulting contact. Perhaps Olynyk, with all his acumen, will learn to do similarly at a young age.

Mitchell, by the way (again, the Pistons' Mitchell) would be one of the most athletic guys in the NBA. He has the tools to be a tremendous one-on-one wing defender, though he probably doesn't have the basketball skills to stick.

I'm sad to see Pressley with the 5 turnovers. I really love watching him- he has so much fire and so much skill. If he could get it under control he could really make it.

By the way, today's +/- all-stars are Iverson and Olynyk. The bum is Melo. This is the opposite outcome of the Magic game.

Didn't watch. But how does Fab have 3 rebs in 19 mins of a summer league game? What is wrong with him? I'd have zero patience as his position coach. I'd probably coach in Thailand instead of work with him.

KO and Iverson is reminding me of Jefferson/Perk when they came up.   ;)
