I meant rumors as in FREE AGENT rumors and the acquisition of Gay was more of a question

Under the assumption he can be our #1 scoring threat, he's too streaky. Or why not follow the rest of the East and play small and athletic

I disagree, I think Gay is a really good player.  Does a little of everything, is clutch, and can defend.  I'd love to see what he can do in the right situation.  I'd like to see him in Portland, Minnesota, Chicago, or Washington.

Rudy was on a team in Memphis where it didn't allow you to ever break out of the mold of really good player playing woth other really good players. You put him on this Celtics team he becomes the number one option, he can hang with the easts Wing players and is probably one of the most clutch players in NBA. I think hes the type of player who would thrive and bring rings to Boston

Dream NBA Lineup:
-Collins
-Favors
-Gay
-Love
-Sessions

get collins at the minimum since salary will be spent on gay, love, and favors, and sessions with an exception.

He's a really good player to be sure. Way too many holes to be superstar though.
