Utah is one of the few sensible destinations for Rondo. Word had it they were highly interested in Bledsoe before he went to Phoenix, and they have cap space to absorb some salary.

My idea: Rondo & Lee for Hayward & Burks.

I'm a fan of both these players. Hayward is reunited with his college coach. Cs have nice assets on the wings for development or trade (i see Hayward as more of a building block, Burks as a bit more of a project or 'piece'). They also clear a ton of room for rebuilding / summer of 2014.

Can get better deals for Rondo

Greg Monroe
Brandon Knight
Peyton Siva

Asik
Terrence jones
#1 Pick

They should have proposed
Heyward Millsap & Burke
before they let Millsap go

Why would either team do this trade?

Utah is set on being serious contenders in a few years once Favors/Kanter get some experience. They just drafted Burke to keep the idea of competing later, not now.

Meanwhile, Hayward and Burke would be a horrendous return package for Boston. Sure they're young, but neither are ever going to develop into a player that even approaches Rondo's caliber - and I'm a big Hayward fan and watched a lot of Burks when he was in Colorado. There would have to be at least two or three first rounders involved in this deal to make it appealing for Boston.

Hayward is not poo. Hayward is a young and dangerous upcoming sg. Can go on fire mode at any point. In addition has played for stevens in the past.

But Jazz wouldn't do this trade. Trey Burke is their future star pg

Some of these packages are not poo.  I would be elated to get Knight and Drummond, Heyward and Burker or Parsons and Asik for RR and I am a Rondo supporter.

Trey Burke is their future good PG. Ceiling projects lower than Mike Conley's.

I'd want Rondo+Sullinger for Hayward and Favors. That's a deal I'd feel good about.

And..... guess who just got some extra first rounders from Golden State?

In my opinion, you're completely overvaluing Rondo. Arguing for a pick would be one thing, though Id far prefer to shed players like Lee or Bass than add more picks right now. Arguing for three is a tad extreme, amigo.

I'm not usually one to pipe in on trade ideas, as we fans are usually way off base....but I do wonder if the Pistons would move one of their bigs in a deal for Rondo, and if so, would we take it?  Just where does Smith fit into their line-up?  Certainly not the main guy at the 3....

I expect him to split time at both forward spots.  How that time is split depends on how well Monroe and Drummond co-exist on the floor together.

I'm pretty sure (but not positive) the OP was referring to Alec Burks and not Trey Burke.

No way Danny does that deal, just a bad trade IMO.
